Description:

This is a training opportunity in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (NEPD) PSNS and IMF to gain the competencies necessary to perform Nuclear Engineering duties. If selected, you will be placed on a Detail NTE 1 Year.

Eligibility for this training opportunity is limited to current GS-0802-12, Engineering Technicians in Code 2300.

Please Note: There will be no change in your salary during the timeframe of this training opportunity.

Requirements:

You are eligible for this training opportunity if you are currently a permanent GS-0802-12, Engineering Technician in Code 2300 and meet the education requirements described below.

Please Note: Appropriate documentation must be provided at time of application to support experience or educational requirements.

Upon successful completion of this training opportunity, you will be eligible to compete for Nuclear Engineer, GS-0840-12, positions.
