Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. This position has a control point equivalent to the GS-13, Step-10 level.
Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 to GS-11 or NT-2 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing pre-award functions and administering long-term contracts for procurements involving complex contracts of highly specialized, extensive, or new or innovative techniques for facilities construction, design, and services; 2) Evaluating various contract related reports, regulations, and other relevant material as a basis for formulating guidelines, implementing new developments, and providing policy interpretation; 3) Providing guidance to subordinate employees and throughout the activity on unique and controversial problems.
