THIS IS A NORTH DAKOTA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This ND National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number D0849000 and is part of the ND G4, National Guard.

Requirements:

PCS STATEMENT: PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION COSTS WILL NOT BE PAID FOR THIS POSITION.

MILITARY GRADES: Warrant Officers (CW3 and below) and Enlisted: E7 and below

QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE
Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience and/or training must show possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have the experience, education, or training in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Knowledge of basic or commonly applied rules, procedures, or operations such as, filling out, posting, filing, controlling, or coding documents and/or transactions. Experience using computer and automation systems/programs to input, track, and pull data.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have the required one year of specialized experience at the GS-6 grade level or civilian equivalent, which includes; 1) Knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment, 2) Conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstructing records for supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts; and 3) Experience coordinating with other offices/sections to complete supply issues and transactions.
