This is a Visual Information Specialist in the Graphics Department of the Naval War College.

Requirements:

GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Applying graphic design theory, techniques, capabilities, limitations, automated, data process security standards, related software and hardware, and multimedia imagery.
2. Utilizing various computer graphic programs (i.e., Adobe Creative Cloud), production methods, equipment, presentation delivery systems, and effective use of numerous required support devices.
3. Preparing print-ready art to include size requirements, line work, and color specification codes.

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Interpreting graphic design principles (i.e., contrast, hierarchy, alignment, balance, function, etc.) in order to create effective and compelling visual solutions for all jobs.
2. Developing visual aids that translate thoughts and ideas into communication materials (i.e., printed publications, exhibit, or oral presentations)
3. Understanding of industry-standard software (i.e., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) to design and produce all required products.
