Description:

About the Position: As a senior analyst at a major command, provides financial advisory services for a majorsegment of the command budget or for a total budget for one or more funds (i.e.: Operations &Maintenance (O&M), Defense, Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDTE), and investment).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work such as analyzing and monitoring budget execution; developing strategies and procedures for successful recurring budgetary/financial events such as: end of month status reviews and presentations, and/or fiscal year-end close-outs; and providing advice and counsel to other resource management and non-resource management officials to resolve a variety of program, funding, and allocation issues.
