Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement,Information Governance and Privacy, in Washington, District of Columbia .

You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and/or editing privacy compliance documentation
  • Identifying and assessing privacy risks and compliance concerns within various program reviews and projects.
  • Advising management on privacy-related matters
  • Analyzing operational trends, compiling and interpreting data for senior management, and suggesting solutions for privacy- related matters.
Time in Grade Requirement GS-12: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
