This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.About the Position: Serves as Budget Analyst in the US Army MEDCOM/OTSG Troop Command One-Staff. Performs a variety of budgetary and administrative functions in implementing and administering the assigned budget in compliance with governing rules, policies and procedures.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include: Develop budgets using analytical reasoning; implement budgetary/program policies; recommend solutions to budgetary problems; formulate reports using accounting software and systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Defense Travel System (DTS), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and Government Purchase Card (GPC). developing budgets using analytical reasoning; implementing budgetary/program policies to ensure compliance to standards; recommending solutions to budgetary problems; determining if budget requests are proper; and formulating reports using accounting software. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
