MANAGER

Description:

You will serve as a MANAGER in the Weapons Systems Division (JXN), Maneuver, Surveillance, & Engagement Systems Division (JXW), or the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Systems Division (WXQ) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

Requirements:

In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent grade level) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist, managing scientific and/or engineering program operations (e.g. short and long-term planning, setting priorities, estimating resources) to improve effectiveness and efficiency of projects, programs and initiatives of an organization.
