This position is located in the Associate Director's Office in the Department of Technology Services (DTS), Enterprise ProjectServices Division (EPSD)
Requirements:
Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.Specialized Experience : Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience must demonstrate ALL areas defined below:
- Strong knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Seventh Edition and the standard for project management principles, methods, outcome-based, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring, and controlling.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI's) The Standards for Program Management Fifth Edition and the standard for project management principles, methods, or tools to navigate complexity and align to strategic objectives, providing oversight of multiple projects, integrating schedules and deliverables, and program governance.
- Strong understanding of Agile concepts including Scrum, Kanban, product ownership, and Agile scaling. Experience supporting and executing PI Planning events, launching Agile release trains, building a continuous delivery pipeline with DevOps, and assisting leadership with removing barriers and customizing its own approach and solutions to becoming Agile. Provide practical hands-on mentoring to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members of new and existing Agile teams. Help teams set up their team JIRA boards, workflow automation, sprint planning and implementation, and product/program backlogs.
- Knowledge of methods, metrics, tools, and techniques of business process reengineering and process improvement. Provides feedback on processes, policies, procedures, training,
- PMP® - Project Management Professional Certification.
- PMI-PgMP® - Program Management Professional Certification
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) ®
- Level III FAC-COR
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, and PowerBI
- 2 years of previous COR experience. Ability to perform significant program management activities, manage low risk to high-risk and complex acquisitions, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, contractor performance and deliverables.
