About the Position: Serves as the Advisor and Liaison to the Chief of Congressional Budget Liaison with responsibility to advise on funding provisions, marks, earmarks, and adds related to Procurement and Research Development, Test and Evaluation, including acquisition of Army systems.Requirements:

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; Maintains a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) cycle and the Congressional appropriation cycle; applying practices and techniques in order to develop new approaches to difficult and complex problems; Facilitates open dialogue and access to inform and collaborate with Congress on the budget, plans, programs, and policies in order to build trust and confidence with the Congress, professional staff members; Ensures hearing testimony and appropriation requests support overall funding objectives and priorities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
