Description:

Joining the Secret Service, General Services Branch, Administrative Operations Division will allow you to provide mail and administrative services to support the U.S. Secret Service headquarters and field elements.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below.

Minimum Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-06 level (starting salary $51,442.00) if you possess the following:

GS-06: Applicant must possess one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-05 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
  • Preparing outgoing mail by reviewing addresses, zip codes, and postage for accuracy;
  • Recording mail-handling activities and logs to support operational reporting; AND
  • Responding to customer inquiries about mail services, following established procedures to resolve routine issues.
NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
