You will serve as a General Engineer, Lead Support Equipment Systems Engineer for the N AVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION, SE & ALRE GROUP , Support Equipment Department, Trainer Aircraft Programs and AV-8B Branch of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Providing systems engineering oversight and controls of Aviation Support Equipment (SE), including the development, the enhancements and modifications to the overall solutions, and identification to develop and implement test and evaluation procedures; 2) Evaluating technical aspects of acquisition packages, perform risk assessments and mitigation, requirements analysis, and integration of those requirements to hardware/software design, to contribute to the acquisition of SE; 3) Formulating life cycle support solutions for SE and conducts basic and applied research to better facilitate the use of SE in the DOD domain; 4) Developing new hypotheses, designs, or analytical techniques for complex subject matter to evolve and innovate processes; and 5) Supporting long-term strategic planning for the implementation of SE products throughout the fleet with the goal of improving maintainer performance, increase fleet readiness, and minimize overall SE footprint.
