What are we looking for?
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in aquatic recreational activities.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to use and perform maintenance of pool equipment.
- Ability to enforce rigid safety regulations to ensure maximum protection of swimmers.
- Must have knowledge of pool water chemistry and ability to use equipment to take pool readings.
- Current nationally recognized certification: Lifeguard training, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent, Standard First Aid or equivalent is required.
- Current nationally recognized certification as a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Instructor or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Must be able to pass an initial and recurrent physical ability test.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TIER-1 Childcare background checks that are required for positions that involve working with children under 18 years of age.
