This a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position.
This position is a Permanent WG-5801-08 SURFACE MAINTENANCE REPAIRER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1193000 and is part of the MO Field Maintenance Shop 4. This is a bargaining position.
Requirements:
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - CW3
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must possess experience, education or training which demonstrates knowledge of equipment to be able to do routine jobs, simple preventative maintenance tasks, and able to use common tools and equipment in the line of work.
WG-08 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience in removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing parts and components of combat, tactical, commercial, automotive, and special purpose vehicles and equipment. Experience must also demonstrate basic understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other non-mechanical systems theories, and skill to replace, fit, install and adjust systems. Experience in reading and interpreting parts list, manufacturer's repair manuals, technical manuals, diagrams, engineering drawings, and schematics.
