You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCPLN) in the Information Technology Department (N6) of NSTC GREAT LAKES.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Utilizing current and future trends relative to computer hardware, software and telecommunications in order to be the technical advisor on IM/IT planning/policy. 2. Developing command IT policy, plans, requirements, and procedures to ensure IT infrastructure supports the current and future needs of the command. 3. Speaking and writing effectively, to address highly complex technical and controversial issues (frequently in terms understandable to non-technical personnel).4. Leading a team in the analysis, planning, establishment of IT systems, and other related business, management, and technical duties. 5. Applying the application of project management principles and methods to ensure fully compliant infrastructure, platform, and application protection programs are implemented throughout the organization
