THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This position is for a Production Controlle r, Position Description Number D1255000 located at the FMS Calhoun facility in Calhoun, Georgia.

This is a full-time, Excepted Permanent, dual status position which requires Georgia Army National Guard Membership.

Compatible Military Assignments : ECMF: 88 91 92 94. MOS: 88M

General Experience : Must possess experience which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.

Specialized Experience : Candidate must have 24 months specialized experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.

Physical Demands: Work is sedentary with no special physical demands. There is a requirement to walk, stand, bend, or carry light items. When overseeing work, may be required to perform in-process inspection and final inspection to ensure quality and completeness of repairs and services.

Work Environment: Work is performed in an office setting involving everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions. Work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Visits to production areas are relatively free of hazards.
