GS-11:Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing professional engineering duties managing environmental programs (e.g., Clean Water, Oil, Hazardous Substances/Spill Response, Clean Water, Industrial Wastewater, etc.) by planning/executing work assignments, preparing technical documents (e.g., permits, plans, correspondence), and active problem solving.
GS-09:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing professional engineer duties supporting environmental programs (e.g., Clean Water, Clean Air, Oil and Hazardous Substances/Spill Response, Industrial Wastewater, Hazardous Materials and Waste, Underground Storage Tanks, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures, etc.). Examples of qualifying experience may include assisting in preparing environmental technical documents (e.g., reports, plans, correspondence, etc.); assisting in conducting environmental field work (e.g., inspections, sampling); and assisting in assessing regulatory requirements to determine impacts.
