This position is part of the Defense Media Activity. The incumbent will provide executive leadership in the following areas: Strategy, Policy and Governance, External and Interagency Coordination, Agency Support & Digital Content Provenance and Authentication.Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-13 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
- Experience with current trends and applications of data, analysis and assessment in support of agency mission to include trends in AI/ML, data cataloging and data stewardship.
- Experience with skill in using data engineering and development, security, and operations (DecSecOps) skills (SQL, Python, PowerShell or Bash, and containers [e.g., Docker])Skill and ability in enabling data science / analytics at scale using distributed storage and distributed compute.
- Experience in managing and administering DevOps / DevSecOps platforms, managing and provisioning cloud resources, and applying Software development life cycle (SDLC) while integrating security best practices (e.g., container security principles).
- Experience in developing data pipelines and automations to transform, cleanse, and serve data and in automating data management (e.g., data cataloging).
- Skill and ability in acquiring IT solutions within government and/or applying / managing RMF Ability to determine methods and metrics for quantitative and qualitative measurement of AI risks so that sensitivity, specificity, likelihood, confidence levels, and other metrics are identified, documented, and applied.

Basic Requirements:
- Degree: Mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.
- Combination of education and experience : Courses equivalent to a major field of study as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
