Description:
This position is in the Office of the Chief of Staff, Office of Intelligence & Analysis. The incumbent serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff, performing a variety of assignments, including those of a confidential nature involving complex problems and special projects spanning multiple areas under the jurisdiction of the Under Secretary for Intelligence & Analysis (I&A).Requirements:
Specialized Experience:To qualify for a GS-15 you must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 level or above that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
This experience is defined as:
Extensive knowledge in directing mission-essential programs to include short- and long-range programs addressing a broad range of DHS or IC needs and interests.
Extensive background in planning and setting subordinate work and evaluating work performed using equitable performance and rating techniques.
Extensive knowledge of DHS and IC missions, including national and homeland security programs, policies, and standard operating procedures.
