The Division of Defendant Engagement and System Support is looking for an individual to serve as the Deputy Assistant Director. As the Deputy Assistant Director, you will be responsible for the full range of PSA's defendant engagement services. Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic professional requirements, and specialized experience requirement below.Basic Professional Requirements : Degree in behavioral or social sciences or related disciplines appropriate to the position;
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field;
OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field;
AND
Specialized Experience : To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the skills to perform the duties. Specialized experience is defined as professional work experience in leading, directing, managing and implementing case management strategies and policies for complex criminal justice or human services programs and experience coaching and developing supervisory level staff. In addition, supervisory experience includes assigning work, providing technical oversight, developing performance plans, evaluating/appraising performance, attracting new talent, taking disciplinary measures, and facilitating professional development for a workforce.
NOTE : Your resume must clearly show the specialized experience related to this position. Failure to demonstrate how you possess the experience requirements will result in an "Ineligible" rating.
