This position will be assigned to Kelly AFB, TX.

This is a Regular Full Time (RFT) position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.


Qualifying Experience : Knowledge in Air Force Lodging experience (Lodging Manager, Assistant Lodging Manager, or Lodging Training Manager). Experience with hotel property management systems. Solid understanding of AF Lodging Fund authorizations, capital requirements, facility, technology, standards, and training requirements and be able to teach base level managers in a coaching supportive role. Ability to analyze and evaluate trends in procedures, service, training, etc., and provide recommended policy change needed to achieve objectives of the AF Lodging Program. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must have experience in the use of personal computers and lodging automated systems. Must be certified by the Educational Institute, American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA) as a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), a Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE), or a Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT). MAJCOM/FOA/HAF experience is highly desirable.
