This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. Requirements:
All candidates MUST meet at least one (1) of the the below ways to qualify:#1: Bachelor's Degree
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree WITH a major study (minimum of twenty-four (24) semester hours) in any of the following:
- computer science, or
- engineering, or
- information science, or
- information systems management, or
- mathematics, or
- operations research, or
- statistics, or
- technology management
#2: IT Certification
Must have intensive training that provided you an IT Certification and also provided you with the demonstrated knowledge and skills in applying the following:
- Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments; AND
- communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing; AND
- gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions; AND
- data storage, software applications and networking.
#3: Work Experience
Possess at least one (1) year of full-time experience performing duties that have provided you with the following knowledge and skills:
- Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments; AND
- communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing; AND
- gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions; AND
- data storage, software applications and networking.
#4: Combination of Education and Experience
Possess a combination* of the above listed experience, education and intensive training that provided you with the following knowledge and skills:
- Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments; AND
- communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing; AND
- gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions; AND
- data storage, software applications and networking.
- 3 months of the experience doing the specified knowledge and skills PLUS 3 years of education (90 semester hours completed) that included 24 semester hours in the fields identified above , OR
- 6 months of the experience doing the specified knowledge and skills PLUS 2 years of education (60 semester hours completed) that included 24 semester hours in the fields identified above , OR
- 9 months of the experience doing the specified knowledge and skills PLUS 1 year of education (30 semester hours completed) that included 24 semester hours in the fields identified above .
