Description:

This position is located in the Regional Offices, Regional 10, Office of the Regional Administrator. The ideal candidate for this position has experience providing administrative support to senior leadership that includes: coordinating schedules, responding to internal/external customer inquiries, arranging travel, and assisting with the development of memos.

Requirements:

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The time-in-grade and qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

To qualify for this position at the GS-09 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

  • Composing, editing, and proofreading written communications (such as correspondence, reports, or briefings);
  • Coordinating and organizing events, travel, or meetings for leadership; and
  • Utilizing a variety of automated office system (word processing, database, graphics presentations, etc.)

OR
Education: 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

OR
Combination of education and experience
