This National Guard position is for a ITSPEC (NETWORK), Position Description Number D2182P01 and is part of the NJ 177th CMN FT, National Guard.This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position.
This position is responsible for providing voice, data, wireless, Communications Focal Point (CFP) and information security services provided to the Wing, supported Geographically Separated Units, and Tenants.
Requirements:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must have experience, education or training in the following:- Performing data processing functions
- Applying general management principles
- Using automated work processes
- Working as a computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or similar position
- Using computer programs and systems
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must have at 36 months experience, education, or training in the following:
- Applying computer applications
- Planning the sequence of actions necessary to accomplish the assignment
- Coordination with others outside the organizational unit
- Developing project controls
- Adapting guidelines or precedents to meet the needs of the assignment
- Preparing documentation on cost/benefit studies
- Summarizing the material and organizing it in a logical fashion
