There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Motor Vehicle Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Ability to lead or supervise. To meet the screen out element, applicants should document experience or show the ability to do the following: skill in workforce planning, training and employee development, administrative and employee management, and operation of motor vehicles. Prioritize workload based off future deadlines, identifying training needs, and operating the full range of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Working Conditions : Work is performed on concrete floors and in drafty areas, occasional working outdoors during inclement weather. May be exposed to fumes, fluids, dirt, battery acid which may result in bruises, cuts, skin irritation and burns. Wearing of hearing and safety equipment required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions.
