You will serve as a BUSINESS DIRECTORATE MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the BUSINESS DIRECTORATE of NAVFAC SOUTHWESTRequirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receive, screen visitors and telephone calls to the office; 2)Determines nature of request and directs calls to the BD or take appropriate messages, set up meetings and/or coordinates email responses on behalf of the BD involving the nature and request of the telephone call or visit; 3) Preparing program materials (e.g. slides, charts) to be utilized in briefings or meetings; 4) Maintains the BD's calendar to ensure business engagements, conferences, travel, VIP visits, and mission critical events are covered and not overbooked due to exceptional tight schedules. 5)Resolves or makes recommendations to accommodate conflicting activities; 6) Organizes and executes multiple large group meetings on site and off site that includes site selection, travel arrangements in the Defense Travel System (DTS), and all other administrative or logistical support. Incumbent is responsible of recording minutes of the highest level executive meetings and coordinates; 7) Writing and verbally communicating effectively with all levels of management and workforce.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
