Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operating) (Seasonal)

Description:

These positions are located at the Statue of Liberty National Monument.

You will work for approximately 6 months and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year.

The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is March through October but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:

1. Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT)
2. Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (other than blueprints)
3. Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
4. Dexterity and Safety
5. Work practices (including keeping things neat, clean, and in order)
