Description:

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Gas Turbine and Engine Controls Branch (Code 261A), Main Propulsion and Electrical Division (Code 260), Chief Engineer Code 200A, Engineering Department Code 200, Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience with the process for installations, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, adjustments and overhauls or a wide range of equipment and systems.
Experience drafting and issuing reports and presentations derived via complex engineering analysis that address highly complex technical issues or concerns regarding division assigned systems to proactively promote improvements.
Experience developing and maintaining a highly effective work environment that rewards/promotes teamwork.
Experience leading strategic planning initiatives that directly support attainment of command and departmental goals.
Experience implementing advanced management principles, practices, methods and techniques, and skill in integrating management services.
Experience with Communication of Technical, Administrative and Managerial issues/policies/requirements relating to structure, arrangements, weight stability, dry-docking, paint, non-skid, corrosion control, sonar domes, heavy weather mooring, cofferdams and access cuts.
