About the Position: This position as a Health Technician (Soldier Readiness) performs a variety of administrative and health care support duties for Soldier Readiness.This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Work hours are from 0730-1630 with lunch from 1130-1230. M ay be required to work, 1 to 2 weekend days a year in support of deployment exercises.
Work location is on Pope Airfield side of Fort Bragg. Office location is in Station 2 of the SRC process.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting healthcare providers to perform basic and routine medical evaluation of patients; utilizing healthcare systems to maintain medical files and records; managing, storing, handling, and/or disposing of bio-hazard materials for a medical department.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

Education: Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major study or at least 24 semester hours in subjects directly related to the position, such as, anatomy, physiology or biology..
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
