IT Specialist (Network Services)

Description:

This position is in the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, Department of Technology Services, Enterprise Operations Center, Infrastructure Operations Division, Infrastructure Operations Branch.

The EOC is a customer-focused, central point of contact for internal and external users of the Judiciary's nationally deployed information technology (IT) services and operates and monitors the Judiciary's national IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.

Specialized Experience : Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience in ALL of the following:

• Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching including knowledge of MultiCast, QoS, IOS Security, and content delivery; and
• LAN/WAN experience.

Highly desired but not required

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 5K, 7K, and 9K. Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) is preferred;
• Hands-on experience with Cisco DMPVPN and IPSEC;
