This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, in Irving, Texas location. This is a non-bargaining unit position that isn't covered by a bargaining unit agreement.

You qualify for the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
- Developing and monitoring budgets, spend plans, obligation plans, or other tracking mechanisms for a program office by using various software, databases, or financial systems (such as FFMS).
- Providing support, including training, to customers on budget execution or other budgetary processes and/or functions (such as executing financial transactions).
- Evaluating policies and procedures in assigned areas of responsibility and recommending courses of actions to achieve program's objectives.

You qualify for the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
- Overseeing the development and execution of a program's budget.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to customers regarding all aspects of budget execution.
- Developing detailed and informative budget briefings or presentations to management for decision making or for ad hoc training with various stakeholders.
- Analyzing budgetary submissions for substance, conformance with instructions, and completeness.
