This vacancy is for a GS - 0080 - 13, LEAD SECURITY SPECIALIST (PORT) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SECTOR OHIO VALLEY CONTINGENCY PLANNING and FORCE RDNS STF.

Requirements:

To qualify at the GS- 13 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

Specialized experience must include the following:

  • Providing Maritime Security preparedness planning, subject matter expertise and technical support for Area Maritime Security (AMS) Plans (AMSP's) and procedures
  • Ensuring all committee records and plans are properly maintained
  • Serving as Sector representative on working groups and coordinating a wide variety of sensitive and complex tasks encompassing the entire spectrum of maritime and port security
NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
