Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER, Code 139 Nuclear Inspection Division Head in the Quality Assurance Office of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience with the technical aspects of nuclear reactor plant work, reactor servicing work, materials, and inspection methods and techniques applicable to nuclear inspection.
Experience with supervising the work assigned, including planning, execution, process management, and resource management.
Experience with managing, integrating, and organizing work performed by others in accomplishing highly diverse and complex operations.
Experience with the Shipyard's nuclear work procedures and policies, and the technical and administrative requirements of the work.
Experience with concepts, principles and practices of Shipyard repair and overhaul of complex nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers necessary to manage the work of the position and to coordinate the work on a wide variety of projects.
