Description:
You will serve as a Freight Rate Specialist in the Traffic Management Office, Logistics Division of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Determining the legally applicable and most economical rates and routes for shipment of freight in accordance with published tariffs.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
