Description:

You will serve as a PURSHASING AGENT in the BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processing requisitions for equipment, supplies and services; 2) Screening purchase requests for completeness and adequacy; 3) Interpreting the different methods of purchasing; 4) Reviewing and reconciling purchase card statements; 5) Working with manager to ensure availability of funds; 6) Maintaining liaison with customers within the organization and outside such as vendors and fleet logistic centers.
