Description:
You will serve as a Technical Project Manager in the Acquisition and Readiness Assessment Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer or Scientist coordinating weapon systems engineering projects to develop strategies, provide technical oversight, and assess weapon system reliability and readiness for a warfare program.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
