You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Command Services Division, Business Directorate of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.Requirements:
For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the establishment of security policies and procedures and monitoring adherence by all elements of the organization; 2) Implementing internal security procedures to ensure proper handling and safeguarding of classified material; 3) Using Personnel Security Programs and databases to initiate, review and process Personnel Security Investigations and security clearance; 4) Assisting in the evaluation of security problems and/or threats and recommending preventative measures to senior management.For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with processing new and renewal access badge requests; 2) Ensuring all necessary forms and documentation required for security clearances are completed prior to processing investigations; 3) Assisting with implementing internal security procedures to ensure proper handling and safeguarding of classified material; 4) Reviewing and processing visit access requests for personnel.
