Basic RequirementsA Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/) at the time the degree was obtained.
Qualifications and Skills
The position requires qualifications and skills to include specialized experience. Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CC-O4 billet grade level to include experience investigating gastrointestinal illness and other infectious disease outbreaks and providing public health recommendations and oversight to control ongoing outbreaks and preventing future outbreaks.
