This is a full-time position with the Marshal's Office - Police Department at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C.

Requirements:

Two or more years of experience conducting background investigations for employment or investigations in a law enforcement setting. Prior experience conducting investigations for employment suitability or security clearances at a federal, state, or local level is preferred. Experience conducting in-person, virtual and telephonic investigations; coordinating with local/state/federal law enforcement agencies; ability to gather, analyze and present facts orally and in writing, preferably in a law enforcement setting.

Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with variety of research and reporting databases.

Active Top Secret security clearance preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI and RD access within 90 days of hire required.
