Description:
This postilion is in the Lock Operation Division. This position is a journey level position involving the installation, modification, maintenance, repair, overhauling and testing of all types of Lock machinery, equipment and related items associated with Lock structures and facilities. The duties require millwright practices and skills in related trades such as pipefitting and welding.

Qualifications for the position are based on the training, experience, or other requirements that determine which applicants would be able to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled.
For the Wage Grade 10, to qualify, your experience should include experience equal or equivalent to the following job elements:
- Ability to do the work of the position.
- Knowledge of equipment.
- Technical practices.
- Ability to interpret instructions.
- Troubleshooting.
- Work practices (Ability to work safely).
