Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and logistical support to further the Center’s operations. The incumbent will report to the Center Administrator and work closely with the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Publications.

Requirements:

Specialized Experience Statement:

Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-05 level in the Federal service, supporting administrative functions for a museum or cultural institution.

Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-07 level in the Federal service, performing administrative tasks for a museum or cultural institution.

OR

Candidates must complete one (1) full year of graduate education leading to a graduate degree.

OR

Candidates must earn a bachelor’s degree in any subject, while demonstrating Superior Academic Achievement.

OR

Completion of a graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a graduate degree.


OR

LL.B. or J.D., if related

Other Relevant Eligibility Criteria: NOTE : Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.

  • Administration – Skill in performing administrative tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and purchasing.
  • Program Support – Ability to support various aspects of National Gallery programs.
  • Property Management – Knowledge of property management functions and processes.
