This position is located in Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, District 11, Hartford, CT Field Office.As an Supervisory Immigration Services Assistant (SISA) , you will provide technical and administrative support to subordinate staff to ensure compliance with USCIS procedures, policies andregulations.
Requirements:
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 04/16/2025.Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 04/16/2025 . GS-10: You qualify at the GS-10 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
- Handling sensitive and/or personally identifiable information for office file movements.
- Maintaining data information in management systems functioning in the areas of either file management, case resolution, appointment scheduling, data processing or workflow management to support processing and/or tracking time sensitive case files.
- Preparing reports or updating documents for information sharing within a team or office.
- Securely processing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Resolving clerical support issues in the areas of immigration records or adjudication processing by investigating data for correction in immigration management systems.
- Applying knowledge of Agency polices and/or standards to make decisions for a clerical support team.
