Description:
Performs daily housekeeping duties which includes dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming and/or sweeping, cleaning/sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen area, trash removal, making beds and removing/changing bedding, restocking of amenities, bed and bath linens and other supplies, checking condition of room assets and reporting problems to supervisor and responding to guest requests.*Bi-weekly review of applicants*
Requirements:
- Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs, follow simple oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work safely while moving lightweight objects.
- Ability to use powered equipment and perform minor maintenance on this equipment.
- Ability to learn Safety Data Sheets.
- Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required.
- This position involves work on workdays and may involve weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts.
- Physical exertion is involved in standing and walking for long periods, some bending, stooping and lifting is required.
- Must have ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor as unassisted lifting, moving and carrying of supplies and equipment weighting up to 45 pounds is required.
- May be required to climb/descend stairs and properly placed stepladders.
- A general knowledge of cleaning.
