Specialized Experience : One year of specialized experience which includes experience in: conducting electrocardiographs, Holter Monitors, treadmills, and cardiac event monitors; Providing alternative procedures for tests, such as manipulating electrocardiograph controls, program information to the electrocardiograph computer, and edit EKG printouts; Operating electrocardiograph equipment and accessories to conduct specialized examinations and studies involving stress testing, ambulatory monitoring of arrhythmias and pulse tracing; Providing emergency medical care by recognizing cardiac arrhythmias, to include atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and ventricular premature beats.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
