THIS IS A TITLE 32 DUAL STATUS POSITIONDUTY LOCATION: 103d Operations Group (OG), East Granby, CT
AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION:
Area 1: All currently employed full-time permanent and indefinite personnel of the CTANG.
Area 2: All currently employed full-time temporary technician personnel and all current traditional members of the CTANG.
Area 3: Individuals eligible for membership in the CTANG. Membership must be satisfied within four (4) months of selection.
Requirements:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training interpreting, explaining, and/or applying a variety of regulations and procedures. Experience using computer and automation systems.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume and any other supporting documentation you wish to provide must clearly substantiate you currently possess 36 months of specialized experience in the following:
- Experience, education, or training arranging or procuring transportation for personnel, cargo or freight.
- Experience in non-routine pre and post auditing of freight bills, bills of lading, and personnel transportation vouchers.
- Experience coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems.
- Experience which included responsibility for the supervision and management of personnel.
- Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed.
- Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of trave regulations, carrier guides, schedules, and services.
- Ability to interpret and apply formal tariffs, dockets, agreements, contracts, and related carrier publications.
- Ability to use classification guides, rate tariffs, dockets, agreements, contracts and related carrier and federal publications to determine schedules, routes and rates for movement of cargo and personnel.
- Ability to research regulations and determine applicable procedures to follow and advise lower graded personnel on changes/updated to current practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to assign, direct, and coordinate work.
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT: All applications will be considered regardless of Branch/AOC/FA/AFSC. Incumbent will be required to be assigned to compatible military position within 1 year of selection. The selected individual may be required to attend formal technician school training.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a security clearance (secret) which the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
