Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.Requirements:
- Four years experience that demonstrates the ability to organize, plan, administer and conduct recreational/leisure activities for large groups.
- At least one year of supervisory/leadership experience is required. Bachelors degree in business or in a field related to Recreation preferred. Knowledge of the scope of activities and their suitability for individuals, age groups and interests. Knowledge of Marine Corps Community Services preferred.
- Ability to solve problems that arise from managing large, diverse groups of people. Ability to market the program and motivate eligible patrons. Must possess managerial and administrative skills necessary to accomplish the mission of the program. Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge of NAF policies and procedures preferred. Must possess or be able to obtain Certificated Program Planners certification or Certified Parks and Recreation Professional Certification within one year of employment.
- Must be able to obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification and CPR within 90 days of employment.
- Must have a valid drivers' license. Night and weekend work as well as occasional travel is required.
