Description:
Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Support Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations command (CNIC); Naval Station Everett.Requirements:
- Must be a responsible individual with a pleasant, courteous attitude who can communicate effectively with the public
- A neat and clean appearance required
- Incumbent will need to quickly acquire a basic knowledge of the rules and practices of the equipment used
- Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required
- This position may require the incumbent to be available to work special events, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must possess a valid lifeguarding certification from a recognized agency or obtain it within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to pass a 250 yard timed swim test. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing
- Current Lifeguard Certification from an accredited organization.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification from an accredited organization.
