A growing company in the financial industry is scaling their IT department in the heart of Atlanta! They are hiring a Senior Linux System Administrator to join their team full-time and in their office 2 days per week in Midtown. This company has a strong history in the area and is looking for someone to be part of their team long term.
In this position, you will be helping with everything from virtualization to the build out of operating systems, maintenance of current infrastructure and datacenters, and higher tier support work. This will be a lot of maintenance and patching work for both hardware and software bottlenecks their clients face. They are looking to modernize their technology stack and move more toward DevOps principles, as they move deeper into Azure cloud and security tools.

Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in an Operations Systems role
- Strong skillset with Azure cloud and O365
- Ability to utilize monitoring tools for maintenance of current systems (Ex. FogLight, SolarWinds)
- Strong system administration abilities with Linux/ Unix
- Advanced knowledge of Ansible
- Prior experience with virtualization efforts
- Ability to help with troubleshooting and support needs
- Familiarity with Kanban agile processes
- Penetration Testing knowledge
- BS in CS or similar degree
- Previous legacy cloud migration experience
- "Point and Click" experience
