.NET Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a .NET Developer in Hopkins, MN.

Summary of the project/initiatives:
The Risk, Data and Operations portfolio includes approximately 250 applications to be migrated to the cloud, with a goal of 69 apps in 2025. The cloud migration group is responsible for ensuring applications are successfully moved from on-premise environment to Azure/AWS followed by app decommissioning on-premise. The focus for this role is to support application teams in migration.

Top responsibilities for this position:
* Refitting applications to run on cloud (Shallow modernization)
* Troubleshooting, Application testing
* Setting up Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and CI/CD pipeline set up for higher environments
* App Onboarding and scaffolding
* Addressing Vulnerability and code fixes
* Supporting app teams with RTx and PRC process
* Assisting app teams with cutover process and post-production activities
* Coordinate and guide offshore resources

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficiency in .NET core and C#
* Experience in web frameworks
* Comprehensive experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) including compute, storage, databases (mainly SQL Server and SQL MI), cloud native services
* Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitLab runners
* Experience with Kubernetes and application containerization
* Experience in using enterprise tools such as GitLab, service now, Autosys, Liquibase, splunk, swagger, datadog, Jira
* Experience in developing microservices and API's
* Experience with Linux and Windows operating system
* Experience with agile software development methodology
* Experience with web based technologies such as React
* Experience in Tibco is beneficial
* Knowledge of the Agile approach
* Working knowledge of quality and security scan technologies such as Sonar, Fortify, and synopse
* Knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YML
* Excellent debugging skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
* Ability to generate technical documentation
* Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
* Experience in migrating applications from onprem to cloud is a plus
* Experience with Autosys to Azure ADF is a plus
* Knowledge of ETL tools such as Synapse/Informatica is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
