RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a Manager of Administration to join their team on a contract basis in NYC.
Responsibilities:
* Provides technical support, optimization, administration and technical documentation for either a localized site and/or enterprise network system
* Oversees daily support for network technologies
* Proactively Identify technology hardware, software, monitoring systems, and other related voice/data issues that and performing root cause analysis in finding resolution to network systems failures or faults
* Managing major projects that impact multiple facilities, clinics and the availability of mission-critical IT services
* Assisting with the research, selection, development, and integration of new technologies to meet the goals and objectives of the organization
* Responsible for diagnosing and/or resolving problems in response to reported incidents involving
* Responsible for maintaining a perpetual inventory of NEC telecommunications equipment, hardware and software related to the work of the PBX managed services
* Troubleshoot and maintain CISCO hardware and software.
* Repair and Replace defective telephones.
* Preform PBX moves, adds and changes
* Assist in configuring and installing various CISCO IP Phone models on CUCM various versions
* Perform move adds and changes on Cisco Unity Connection
* Maintain and troubleshoot CISCO VG224 Analog Gateways.
* Assist in configuring Agents IP Phones for extension mobility allowing access to the system from all available desktops and IP phones
* Willing to perform x-connects or device rack mounting
* Following establish organization change and release management procedures, naming standard and other internal processes and procedures for managing daily activities and changes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Able to work independently with minimum supervision, troubleshoot complex system hardware and performance issues
* Hands-on experience in architecture/design, implementation & administration of Data/VoIP networks
* In-depth technical knowledge and experience of CISCO routers and switches (Nexus), advanced routing/switching, platform configuration and basic network security
* Working with Telecom carriers during implementations and outages
* Hands on experience in voice, WiFi gateway and controller setup and maintenance
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
